The Protector
Lucas has spent eighty years trying to understand why he isn’t
dead after a tragic accident killed him. When he sees something unusual about a
freshman at his college, he’s drawn to the young girl. Sarah always wondered if
she was different, but never thought she was really anything more than ordinary,
normal. When weird things begin to happen around her though, her thoughts begin
to change. Lucas is always there, and what Sarah doesn’t know about why he is
there will hurt her. An encounter with a stranger sheds some light for Lucas,
and reveals his purpose, answering the question of why he is so drawn to Sarah.
